2014 Victorian Golf Industry Awards

The Victorian Golf Industry came together to recognise the outstanding achievements and contributions of individuals and clubs to the sport in 2013.

Kel Llewellyn was inducted into the Victorian Golf Industry Hall of Fame and with volunteers being an integral part of the sport Dawn Macdonald (Barwon Heads G C) was awarded the Country Victoria/Victorian Golf League Individual Female.

Amalgamation Progress

The GDGA has indicated to Golf Victoria that it favours amalgamation with SWDLGA, and believes that unless amalgamation is achieved in this area soon, there is a real danger of Geelong being left behind and the game suffering as a result. Here is the GDGA's position on the amalgamation with the SWDLGA

Junior Clinics

Junior clinics for girls and boys are held at Portarlington Golf Club every Sunday morning from 9.30 to 11am at a cost of $2 per child. For more details contact Marilyn Mooney on 5259 2927
